We specialize in dementia care, live-in care, short-term respite and the care of our veterans. Our RN is able to provide in-home diabetic foot care.

ScotiaCare also provides non-medical and companionship care to disabled and infirm clients, and to those children and adults undergoing short-term convalescence after surgery.

ScotiaCare offers an affordable and compassionate solution for families caring for loved ones, and for Seniors who need extra help with daily activities. ScotiaCare’s personalized services are available in the areas of Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville and surrounding areas, as well as the Eastern Shore as far as Sheet Harbour and Middle Musquodoboit. We can provide services on a short-term, long-term or live-in basis: for as little as three hours a week, or 24/7, including nights, holidays and vacations.
 
All our services are performed by very experienced, highly trained and caring professional caregivers who are licensed (where necessary), insured and bonded. We have a Registered Nurse on staff who is able to provide diabetic footcare in the comfort of your own home.

The ScotiaCarePlan^® we provide to every client is as unique as the client herself. Every client’s ScotiaCarePlan^® depends on individual needs, the number of hours provided, and night or weekend shifts. That’s why it is so difficult to quote a rate without first meeting the client.
